Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for the InControl platform in Dublin. You will develop, test and maintain Java-based, scalable software supporting Travel, Expense and Supplier transactions for major clients.

Work with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, compliant solutions using Spring, REST APIs and cloud-native technologies. Ideal candidates have strong Agile experience, excellent communication, and a passion for building robust, high-performance systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, CS or Engineering.
• Strong experience with scalable, multi-threaded Java applications.
• Experience with Spring Framework and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop high quality, secure, scalable software solutions per specs and timelines.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and cloud-native components.
• Contribute to system design, feasibility studies and performance benchmarking.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to meet objectives.
