Job summary

Fastnet is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build and scale an AI-powered healthcare platform focused on mental health and neurodevelopmental assessment. You will work with a multidisciplinary team and take ownership from frontend to cloud infrastructure, ensuring secure, scalable production systems.

The role involves integrating ML models, delivering robust web applications and APIs, and applying DevOps practices in a regulated healthcare context.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or full-stack development.
• Proven track record building production web applications.
• Strong backend development and API design capabilities.
• Experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure (Docker/Kubernetes).
• CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong focus on cybersecurity and data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software across frontend, backend and cloud environments.
• Build scalable web applications, APIs, microservices and integrations for AI-driven healthcare products.
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure, containerised apps, and deployment pipelines.
• Ensure security, data privacy and regulatory compliance in production systems.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate models into production features.
