A global healthcare technology organisation is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and support critical software, cloud, and healthcare integration platforms.

The Role:
You will be responsible for developing and supporting highly available systems across cloud and on-premise environments, while driving automation, reliability, security, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support scalable cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
- Develop backend applications, services, automation, and internal tools using .NET/C#, SQL, and scripting.
- Drive CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, deployment, and release practices.
- Support healthcare integration workflows, including HL7 messaging, routing, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor and improve platform reliability through observability, logging, alerting, and incident management.
- Support security, vulnerability remediation, patching, and compliance activities.
- Create technical documentation, runbooks, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams and participate in an on-call rota.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher with 5+ years' experience supporting production systems.
- Strong AWS experience, including EC2, RDS/databases, CloudWatch, and infrastructure support.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and release management.
- Experience with .NET/C# or similar software development experience.
- Experience supporting production and high-availability environments.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with HL7 and healthcare integration.
- Knowledge of SRE, observability, incident management, and root cause analysis.
- Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Kibana, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Terraform, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with healthcare security, compliance, and regulated environments.
- Experience using AI/LLMs to support development and automation.
