Job summary

g2i is seeking a senior-, staff- or principal-level software engineer to evaluate AI-assisted coding agents. You won't write production code; you'll assess whether the model thinks like a great engineer, focusing on usefulness, reasoning, and engineering judgment.

You will review AI-generated interactions, provide written and video feedback, and help define what great looks like when using Codex, Claude Code or Cursor. Remote, worldwide, 10-20 hrs/week, $100-$200/hr.

Qualifications

• Senior, staff or principal-level engineering experience.
• Strong background in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Codex, Claude Code or Cursor.
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions end-to-end.
• Provide clear, opinionated feedback in writing and video.
• Help define what great looks like when using tools like Cursor, Codex and Claude Code.
• Assess the quality of explanations and reasoning, not just the code.
