Job summary

Google Ireland is seeking software engineers to help build next-generation infrastructure and large-scale distributed systems. You will write product or system development code, design features for safe deployments, and collaborate with service owners to deliver reliable config rollouts at scale.

Candidates should have 2 years of experience with Go, C++, or Java, experience with Agile development, and a background in software development or an advanced degree.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development or 1 year with an advanced degree.
2 years of experience with Go, C++, or Java.
2 years of experience with large-scale infrastructure and distributed systems.
Experience with Agile software development.

Responsibilities

Write product or system development code.
Design, implement, and test features on safe config deployments for distributed systems and APIs.
Define, monitor, and improve SLIs/SLOs for config deployments and reliability.
Apply AI agent tooling to enhance operability and productivity.
Collaborate with teams and service owners to deliver config rollout solutions.
