Job summary

Bounce Insights is recruiting a Senior Software Engineer to join our Dublin team. You will develop high‑quality software, design scalable architectures, and collaborate with a small team to deliver features across our product suite.

You will work in a hybrid model, with on‑site collaboration and remote work options, contributing to testing strategies and code reviews while growing with an innovative, fast‑paced market research platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or portfolio of live tech systems.
• 4–5+ years of industry experience.
• Solid understanding of core CS concepts: OOD, algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis.
• Experience with Jest testing framework and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality software and architecture.
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specs.
• Implement and maintain robust testing for applications.
• Participate in peer code reviews to improve quality.
• Automate tasks with appropriate tools and scripting.
• Collaborate with engineers to design and implement features.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and daily standups.

Location:Dublin City (Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

Reports to:Engineering Team Lead

Standard Work Hours:Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Purpose of Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Dublin team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, gain hands‑on experience with the latest technologies, and play a key role in shaping the future of our products. You will work alongside a small, experienced team of developers, gaining invaluable knowledge and experience in designing scalable and high‑performing software platforms.

• Work with the full stack of technologies within the company’s products and systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, including coding standards, privacy policies, and NDAs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, programming, or a related field, OR a portfolio of live technology systems built and deployed.
• Solid understanding of core computer science concepts such as object‑oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem‑solving, and complexity analysis.
• 4-5+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with Jest testing framework.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
