Job summary

Penta Consulting is a technology service provider and leading outsourced partner delivering professional and managed solutions across EMEA. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer.

You will design, develop, and maintain Kubernetes Operators and Controllers using Go, build CRDs, reconciliation logic, webhooks, and Kubernetes APIs, and automate provisioning, configuration, upgrades, scaling, recovery, and lifecycle management processes.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing and maintaining Kubernetes Operators and Controllers in Go.
• Experience with CRDs, reconciliation logic, webhooks and Kubernetes APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain Kubernetes Operators and Controllers using Go.
• Build Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs), reconciliation logic, webhooks, and Kubernetes APIs.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, upgrades, scaling, recovery, and lifecycle management processes.

Software Engineering & Automation

• Develop high-quality Go software following modern engineering standards.
• Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release processes.

Reliability, Security & Observability

• Build production-ready software with strong monitoring, metrics, logging, and alerting capabilities.
• Implement secure Kubernetes patterns including RBAC, secrets management, and workload isolation.
• Support incident investigations and platform reliability improvements.
