Job summary

Solventum, formerly 3M Health Care, is seeking a skilled software professional in Ireland to automate tests and support medical interface software. You will create manual and automated test cases, develop Connexion devices with NET C#, and participate in production on-call rotations to ensure quality releases.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a software field, 5+ years with C# .NET, 1 year of test automation, and familiarity with HL7 and DevOps practices.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience developing Connexion devices.
• 2 years HL7 software development.
• HL7 certification.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, application components, and maintainable code.
• Contribute to architecture decisions for scalability, performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Perform code reviews, enforce development standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production and non-production issues.
• Optimize application performance and system integrations.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Familiarity with unit testing, automated testing, and debugging tools.
• Ability to analyze complex problems, communicate technical concepts clearly, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with AWS services.
• Experience modernizing legacy .NET Framework applications to current .NET versions.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, observability, logging, and application monitoring.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Collaboration across business, product, QA, operations, and architecture teams.
• Ability to balance delivery speed with long-term technical sustainability.
