Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Core Speech Software Engineer in Ireland to develop internal tools for AI medical note generation and support NLP, NLU, and AI teams in producing training data and quality reports.

The role involves deployment automation, cloud resource management, on-call support, and improving speech recognition quality. Remote work is available with potential travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Background in linguistics (particularly phonetics) or medical transcription
• Expertise in Kotlin, Python, Golang, Typescript, Django, Angular, Ktor, Node, Terraform, regex
• Effective communicator and comfort with presenting to groups
• Work location: Ireland (candidate must be based in Ireland)
• Work type: Remote
• Travel: May include up to 10% domestic or international

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND one year related experience

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• Experience with data pipelines and processing
• Web development experience
