Job summary

IT Search is seeking a senior Software Architect in Dublin City. The role focuses on defining and architecting the full stack from UI to backend Java, with AWS deployment and future-proofing for scalable, secure SaaS solutions.

The candidate should bring 10+ years of postgrad development/architecture experience, strong leadership, and hands-on expertise across microservices, API design, and security. Onsite three days per week in Dublin will apply.

Qualifications

• 10+ years postgrad development/architecture experience (4+ years in relevant roles).
• Hands-on with microservices, deep API knowledge, backend Java and SaaS delivery including security.
• Experience in security, scalability, reliability and observability; strong AWS deployment familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Define and architect the entire stack of the product, from UI to backend Java, AWS deployment and more.
• Liaise with internal and client functions, ensuring performance requirements are understood and built into the product range.
• Create and maintain complex documentation around each evidence-based decision.
