Job summary

eir business talent is seeking a Senior SME/Architect – Power Platform in Dublin on a hybrid basis. You will lead the technical design and architecture for Power Platform and SharePoint Online applications, guiding the development team and ensuring best practices and secure Dataverse usage.

You will own end-to-end solution design, mentor engineers, and drive DevOps integration in an agile DevSecOps environment, while staying abreast of Microsoft tech stack advancements.

• Experience leading functional teams and gathering business requirements.
• Designing and architecting Power Platform solutions, configuring Power Apps and building Power Automate workflows and Power BI reports.
• Excellent communication and leadership to drive user adoption of Power Platform solutions.
• Core skills: PowerApps, CDS, PowerApps Portals, Power Automate, SPFx.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and architecture for Power Platform and SharePoint Online applications.
• Guide and mentor development teams, including code reviews and coaching on technical issues.
• Oversee DevOps capabilities and version control (AzureDevOps/GitHub/Pipelines).
• Ensure coding standards and development methodologies are followed in an agile DevSecOps environment.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks in the development process.
• Collaborate with senior architects to ensure cohesive, scalable system architecture.
• Stay updated on Microsoft tech stack trends and advocate adoption where appropriate.

Senior SME/Architect – Power Platform

Location – Dublin – Hybrid

Type – 6+ months Contract – highly extendable

The Role

• Leading the technical design and architecture for all Power Platform and SharePoint Online based applications, ensuring they align with business requirements, best practices, and software development standards.
• An excellent understanding of Dataverse along with how to design, develop and secure it.
• Strong experience with: Canvas Apps, Model Driven Apps and Power Automate.
• Providing guidance and mentorship to the development team, including code reviews, and coaching on technical issues.
• Experienced knowledge of Power Platform DevOps capabilities and limitations (AzureDevOps/GitHub/Pipelines) and good Solution Management & version control.
• Overseeing the development process, ensuring coding standards and development methodologies are followed.
• Resolving technical roadblocks and issues that arise during the development process.
• Identifying and mitigating technical risks and challenges in the development process.
• Collaborating with other technical leaders and architects to ensure the overall system architecture is cohesive and scalable.
• Staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and advocating for their adoption when appropriate with regards to the Microsoft Tech stack.
• Work in an agile DevSecOps environment

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• They should have experience leading functional teams and guiding them in gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Their expertise in designing and architecting Power Platform solutions, as well as configuring Power Apps and building Power Automate workflows and Power BI reports, allows them to successfully lead projects from concept to implementation.
• Additionally, a Power Platform SME/Architect should have excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and ensure successful user adoption of Power Platform solutions.
• Core Skills: PowerApps, CDS, PowerApps Portals, Power Automate, SPFx

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience: (As applicable)

C#, SQL, .Net, D365 CRM, CRM Plugins, PCF Controls, Azure Functions, Azure API Management Gateway, Power Virtual Agents, PowerBI, Customer Insights.

Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e. Stamp1G Dependant, Stamp 4, Irish/British/EU passport.
