Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to support applications, services and platforms within the AI Data and UX program. You will help build, scale, and operate enterprise platforms and cloud infrastructure across the organization.

Collaborate with global teams to drive automation, improve incident response, and contribute to the DevOps transformation with CI/CD improvements and proactive resiliency.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, scripting, pipeline management, and software design.
• Systematic problem-solving approach with strong communication and ownership.
• Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Chef.

Responsibilities

• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
• Analyse ITSM activities of the platform and provide feedback loop to development teams on operational gaps or resiliency concerns.
• Support services before they go live through system design consulting, capacity planning and launch reviews.
• Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health.
• Scale systems sustainably through automation and evolving systems for reliability and velocity.
• Support the application CI/CD pipeline for promoting software into higher environments through validation and operational gating.
• Lead in DevOps automation and best practices.
• Practice sustainable incident response and blameless post-mortems.
• Take a holistic approach to problem solving across the technology stack to optimize MTTR.
• Work with a global team across time zones and geographies.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior resources.
