Job summary

O’Neill and Brennan seeks a Senior Site Manager for high-rise residential developments in Dublin. The candidate will manage daily site operations, ensure documentation accuracy, supervise subcontractors, and coordinate site staff to uphold construction standards.

The role requires 7+ years with main building contractors in Ireland or the UK, a degree in Engineering/Construction Management or a relevant trade, and strong reading of drawings along with knowledge of building regulations and safety

Qualifications

• Computer literate and proficient in safety and quality management.

Overview:

Our client, a leading Main Building Contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join their team on high-rise residential developments in Dublin. This role will ideally suit candidates who have worked large scale residential or mixed-use projects in Ireland or the UK previously.

Job Summary:

• Manage the day-to-day running of the site.
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
• Checking plans, drawings and supervision of subcontractors across the project.
• Manage and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors on site
• Ensure work is carried out to the highest of standards.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to adhere to the construction programme.
• Overseeing quality control and safety matters on the site and ensuring that regulations are adhered to.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Engineering / Construction Management or Trade background.
• The successful Senior Site Manager will have at least 7+ years’ experience working for main building contractors in Ireland or the UK.
• Must have experience working on large-scale residential or mixed‑use projects.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Knowledge of latest building regulations and certification standards.
• A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks/projects
• Computer literate.
• Good knowledge of safety and quality management.
