Job summary

Lumen Search is seeking a motivated Site Engineer to join a leading construction team delivering a large-scale residential development in Fermoy, Co. Cork.

You will manage day-to-day site engineering activities, ensuring quality, safety and accuracy while collaborating with the project team. The ideal candidate has 2–5+ years of Site Engineer experience, strong setting out and surveying skills, and familiarity with Irish regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–5+ years site engineering experience.
• Experience on residential developments is highly desirable.
• Strong setting out and surveying experience.
• Knowledge of Irish building regulations and health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Establish site levels, grid lines and ensure works align with drawings and specs.
• Monitor quality control on-site and verify workmanship and materials meet standards.
• Conduct site surveys and maintain accurate records of measurements and as-built information.
• Coordinate with Site Manager and subcontractors to ensure smooth daily delivery.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with design teams, consultants and stakeholders.
