Job summary

Lumen Search is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join a major residential development in North-East Dublin. The role focuses on technical coordination, drawings, quality, and site problem-solving, with a dedicated Setting Out Engineer reporting to you.

You will manage civils and infrastructure, coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and authorities, and drive delivery using Procore and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the construction industry, with Senior Engineer level experience preferred.
• Experience delivering large residential developments (apartments/housing).
• Background in civils, groundworks, drainage and infrastructure is advantageous.
• Strong ability to review and coordinate construction drawings and technical submittals.
• Experience using Procore or similar construction management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day engineering and technical requirements for the development.
• Coordinate information flow between design team, site management, subcontractors and consultants.
• Review drawings and design information, identify discrepancies and raise RFIs as needed.
• Manage and coordinate drawings to ensure the latest approved information is used on site.
• Provide guidance to Setting Out/Site Engineers and support on technical issues.
• Coordinate site inspections, quality records and technical sign-offs.
• Maintain engineering records and documentation (as-builts, inspections, QA).
