Job summary

ICDS Group is seeking a Senior Site Engineer for a major life sciences project in Athlone. You will oversee on-site engineering and setting-out, ensuring works meet design, specs and programme while maintaining safety and quality.

You will mentor junior engineers and coordinate with subcontractors, consultants and the project team to resolve technical issues on site. The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, 5+ years' site experience, strong setting-out and surveying skills, and

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as Site/Senior Site Engineer.
• Strong setting-out and surveying experience.
• Experience with a main contractor.
• Experience on large-scale life sciences or similar projects is advantageous.
• Knowledge of drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Experience using Total Station and GPS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site engineering and setting-out activities.
• Supervise junior engineers and support the site team.
• Review drawings, specs and technical information.
• Ensure works are set out and constructed accurately.
• Coordinate with design team on queries and changes.
• Maintain site records, quality documentation and reports.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental requirements are met.
• Assist Project Manager with technical delivery.
