Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Senior Site Engineer for a datacentre project in Wicklow. The role demands at least 6+ years’ experience on civils elements of large building schemes and a solid track record on site management.

Responsibilities include setting-out, planning works to meet programme targets, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring high safety and quality standards on site in line with client and design team expectations.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree required.
• 5+ years’ site experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Team player with ability to deliver on safety, quality and programme.
• Full driving license required.

Senior Site Engineer with 6+ years’ experience required for a Tier 1 Main Contractor to work on a datacentre project in Wicklow. Our client is ideally looking for an Engineer with experience on the civils elements of large building projects.

Responsibilities

• Setting-out
• Reading & interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc.
• Management of subcontractors/groundworkers
• Planning works in an efficient manner to ensure programme targets are achieved
• Liaise with client’s representatives/Design Team members as appropriate
• Ensure that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.
• Ensure work is carried out to the highest of quality standards.
• Ordering and control of materials on site.

Requirements

• Civil Engineering Degree
• 5+ years’ experience
• Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivating to deliver on safety, quality & programme
• Ability to work as part of a team
