Job summary

ProSource Group is seeking an experienced Site Engineer or Senior Engineer for a multi-site residential groundworks role in Ireland. You will own engineering across several live sites, coordinating crews and subcontractors, and keeping works on programme.

You will review drawings and construction information, issue RFIs as needed, mentor junior engineers, and ensure quality control and Health & Safety compliance across multiple projects with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (Level 7/8).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in civil engineering or groundworks.
• Experience on large residential developments.
• Senior Engineer or Site Engineer level experience.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for engineering and setting out across multiple residential sites.
• Oversee groundworks including site clearance, bulk earthworks, foundations, drainage, roads, footpaths and services.
• Coordinate engineers, site crews, subcontractors, plant and materials across sites.
• Monitor progress against programme and help with short-term planning of site activities.
• Review drawings, specifications and construction information, and raise RFIs where needed.
• Maintain strong quality control, with accurate inspection, test and as-built records.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, clients, consultants and local authorities as required.
• Make sure works meet project specifications and Health & Safety requirements.
• Mentor and support junior and graduate engineers.

• Full Irish driving licence.
