European Tech Recruit partners with a technology organisation building sensor technologies for mobile devices, wearables, and smart glasses. We seek a Senior Software Engineer – Sensors to develop apps, tools, and data-processing workflows from prototyping to deployment.

The role covers Android apps for sensor data, cross-platform desktop tools, and device-interaction software using Java, Kotlin, C++, Python, .NET and C#.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering or CS field.
• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience developing Android apps with the Android SDK.
• Experience with C++, Python, and system-level applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test Android apps for sensor data collection.
• Design, implement, and test cross-platform desktop tools for Windows and Linux.
• Develop tools that interact with Android devices for control, validation, visualization, and post-processing.
• Develop software using Java, Kotlin, Python, C++, .NET, and C#.
• Develop Java-based software components using industry-standard design patterns.
• Develop software for prototype and reference platforms across smartphones, wearables, and smart-glasses form factors.
