Job summary

Mastercard in Ireland seeks a Principal Security Engineer who will empower developers to build secure software at scale. You’ll lead threat modeling adoption, craft scalable collateral, and embed security into the development lifecycle with a strong developer experience.

You’ll blend hands-on security expertise with leadership, coaching engineers and architects, shaping governance, reviews, and training programs to raise security excellence across the engineering organization.

Qualifications

• Senior security practitioner with hands-on threat modeling and secure software design experience.
• Ability to influence across teams and work directly with developers and architects.
• Strong coaching and communication skills with a focus on practical, developer-centric security.
