Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to lead automation and quality for agentic applications and AI-powered workflows. You will design robust testing strategies, build scalable automation, and partner with engineers, product managers, and AI teams to ensure reliable software delivery.

You will validate AI-enabled platforms, optimize test data, ensure end-to-end coverage, and drive quality throughout CI/CD pipelines and releases.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software test automation and framework design.
• Ability to test modern distributed systems, APIs, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Experience with AI/test scenarios including prompt/workflow validation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality engineering for agentic applications and APIs.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
• Define test strategies for AI systems including workflow validation and reliability.
