Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to lead the quality strategy for agentic AI-powered platforms. You will own end-to-end quality for applications, workflows, and APIs, designing scalable automation frameworks and validating complex AI-enabled systems in production.

This hands-on role requires strong test engineering fundamentals and ownership. You will collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and data/AI teams to ensure robust quality across CI/CD

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software test automation and framework design.
• Experience testing distributed, AI-enabled or agent-based systems.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD and agile processes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality for agentic applications and APIs.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks for UI and API tests.
• Define test strategies for AI/agent-based systems.
• Ensure CI/CD gates and high-release confidence.
• Mentor teams on modern quality practices.
