Senior SCADA & OT Security Package/Project Manager

The role:
We are looking for a Senior SCADA & OT Security Package/Project Manager to lead the delivery of SCADA, OT, communications, systems integration, and cybersecurity workstreams across large-scale infrastructure and renewable energy projects. In this role, you will ensure technical packages are delivered safely, securely, and effectively from development and tendering through commissioning and operational handover.
The position may be based in different locations across Europe, including Edinburgh, Utrecht, Hamburg, Copenhagen, or Vejle.
Your key responsibilities will include :
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage key stakeholders across SCADA, OT security, communications, systems integration, grid integration, and related control systems.
- Develop employer requirements, technical specifications, ITT/RFI documentation, procurement decision material, and governance gate presentations.
- Manage supplier selection, tender evaluations, contract negotiations, contractor performance, package budgets, schedules, risks, and contractual obligations throughout project execution.
- Define and govern SCADA, OT, communications, and systems integration architecture, including control centers, RTUs, PLCs, IEC 61850, substation automation, grid integration, industrial networks, and telecommunications infrastructure.
- Lead system integration across WTG, OSS, ONS, transmission, and operational systems, supporting grid compliance, commissioning, operational readiness, and handover.
- Integrate cybersecurity requirements into project delivery, including security-by-design principles, supplier compliance, and alignment with relevant standards such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIS2, CRA, IEC 62351, and IEC 61850.
- Lead risk-based assurance activities, including FAT, SAT, commissioning, cybersecurity validation, system testing, operational readiness, and regulatory compliance across critical infrastructure projects.
Your experience :
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in SCADA, OT, digital infrastructure, power systems, utility automation, or related technical disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership role such as Package Manager, Engineering Manager, Technical Manager, Department Manager, or similar.
- Proven delivery experience across large-scale infrastructure, utility, renewable energy, or offshore wind projects, including management of multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and technical packages across the full project lifecycle.
- Strong technical expertise in SCADA, industrial control systems, OT architecture, industrial networks, telecommunications, grid compliance, substation automation, Control & Protection systems, IEC 61850, IEC 62351, IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and cybersecurity in critical infrastructure environments.
