Job summary

The Senior SAP HANA Security Engineer at McKesson will lead design and implementation of SAP security across S/4HANA, HANA and ECC, focusing on HANA database security, privilege models, and access governance. You will ensure encryption, key management, and secure data handling while aligning with SOX ITGC controls and enterprise GRC requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in SAP Security.
• 4 full lifecycle SAP Security deployments across SAP S/4HANA, HANA and ECC.
• Experience supporting SOX / ITGC controls and audit requirements.
• Ability to collaborate with IAM, Audit and Cybersecurity teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP security architecture across SAP S/4HANA, HANA and ECC.
• Design, implement and maintain HANA security controls, including users, roles, and privileges.
• Configure HANA access controls for data access and reporting per regulatory needs.
• Drive SAP access governance and GRC controls (SoD and audit-ready).
• Ensure encryption, key management and secure storage within SAP security.
• Integrate SAP security with IAM (SailPoint) and GRC capabilities.
• Enable threat visibility and security telemetry across SAP systems.
• Provide Level 3-4 production support including incident ownership and RCA.
• Design solutions aligning with enterprise cyber resiliency objectives.
• Drive automation and process improvement within SAP security practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship as an SME in SAP HANA security.
