Job summary

eir business talent is seeking a Senior Automation (RPA) Engineer/Automation Consultant for a day-rate contract based in Louth, Ireland. The role is hybrid with occasional travel to Louth and requires eligibility to work in the EU/UK.

You will own and stabilise a large automation estate, drive governance, and collaborate with business units to scale automation across processes. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of RPA development experience (3+ years on UiPath), strong UiPath Studio/Orchestrator

Qualifications

5+ years' hands-on RPA development with at least 3 years on UiPath delivering automations into production.
Strong UiPath Studio and Orchestrator experience including REFramework, queues, exception handling, scheduling and environment management.
Experience automating against SAP GUI scripting and system integrations.
Solid SQL skills and experience working with APIs and system integrations.
Experience supporting and enhancing automations built by others.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Disciplined about testing, documentation and following an agreed release process.

Responsibilities

Deliver automations end to end: requirements, process mapping, design, build, testing, deployment and hypercare.
Work from a prioritized pipeline of requests, providing clear estimates and regular progress updates.
Build automations across a range of business processes, including document-based processes where appropriate.
Support and enhance automations in production, investigating issues and resolving root cause.
Implement logging, monitoring and alerting so issues are detected and communicated quickly.
Maintain governance and documentation for release processes and environments.
