• Excellent commercial acumen with a track record in sales, profitability, KPIs and operational performance.

Excel Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Senior Regional Retail Manager / Head of Retail for a highly successful, established retail business with a strong reputation for quality, product excellence and outstanding customer experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Regional Manager, Senior Area Manager or Head of Retail coming from a fashion, luxury or premium lifestyle retail background who is ready to make a real impact at senior leadership level.

Based in Dublin, this role offers the opportunity to lead a multi-site retail operation, influence business strategy and drive commercial performance while developing exceptional retail teams.

The Opportunity

As Senior Regional Retail Manager, you will take ownership of the commercial and operational performance of a portfolio of stores, leading through an established management structure and working closely with the senior leadership team.

This is a highly visible, influential position requiring a strong balance of commercial thinking, inspirational people leadership and operational expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial Leadership: Drive sales, profitability, margin, productivity and overall retail performance across the store portfolio.
• People & Talent: Lead, coach and develop senior retail managers, building strong leadership teams and a culture of accountability and performance.
• Brand & Customer Experience: Champion exceptional customer service, premium store standards and a consistent brand experience across all locations.
• Visual & Product Standards: Ensure inspiring product presentation, strong visual merchandising and commercially focused retail environments.
• Business Performance: Analyse trading results, identify growth opportunities and implement strategies to maximise sales and profitability.
• Operational Excellence: Drive efficiencies across stock management, replenishment, labour planning, productivity and store operations.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership and key business functions to support commercial objectives and future growth.
• Leadership Development: Build succession plans, identify emerging talent and create a high-performance retail culture across the business.

The Experience We're Looking For

We are looking for a commercially astute, confident and engaging retail leader who has operated successfully at senior multi-site level.

• Proven experience as a Regional Manager, Head of Sales or Head of Retail, ideally within fashion, luxury or premium lifestyle retail.
• A strong background working with premium brands, fashion retailers, luxury retail environments or high-end department stores.
• Excellent commercial acumen with a proven track record of delivering sales, profitability, KPIs and operational performance.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, margin, labour costs and productivity.
• A passion for product, visual merchandising, brand presentation and exceptional retail standards.
• Outstanding people leadership skills with experience managing and developing senior retail teams.
• A customer-focused mindset with a genuine appreciation for premium service and brand experience.
• Strategic in approach but equally comfortable being visible, hands-on and involved in stores.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the credibility to work closely with senior business leaders.
