Job summary

Sunbeam Veterinary Hospital in Cork, Ireland, is seeking an experienced Referral Veterinary Surgeon to join our busy, purpose-built referral hospital. You will manage a varied caseload in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery within a supportive MDT, with opportunities to develop and grow our referral services.

The role offers a four-day week with 40 hours, no out-of-hours duties, and a competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• VCI registration or eligible for VCI registration.
• A recognised Surgical Certificate is essential.
• Proven experience in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery.
• Comfortable managing referral-level cases and building caseload.

Responsibilities

• Handle a busy referral surgical caseload including soft tissue and orthopaedics.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team and referent practices.
• Develop and grow the surgical caseload and services within the hospital.
