Job summary

Zinkworks in Ireland is seeking a Senior React UI Developer to take ownership of the frontend for an Enterprise dashboard in the telecoms domain. You will work autonomously within a cross-functional scrum team to build performant web interfaces for real-time data.

You will design UI/UX patterns without a dedicated designer, shape the user experience, and collaborate with backend engineers to integrate data APIs. The role emphasizes autonomy, structure, and high-quality UI delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend development experience with a strong focus on React.
• Ability to design UI/UX patterns and workflows without dedicated UX support.
• Experience with data-heavy interfaces (charts, tables, filters) and real-time data.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component lifecycles, performance optimization, and accessibility.
• Proficiency with Git and agile workflows; familiarity with Jira or Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Own the frontend development of a greenfield data dashboard application using React.
• Design, build, and iterate on interactive UI components for exploring large datasets.
• Define UI structure and styling in the absence of a dedicated UX designer.
• Collaborate with backend engineers and architects to integrate with data APIs and services.
• Ensure frontend code quality through testing and code reviews.
• Participate in agile ceremonies as a full member of the scrum team.
• Help define frontend best practices and frameworks as the project evolves.
