Job summary

Census Labs in Ireland seeks a Front End Software Engineer to design and build production-grade user interfaces for data-dense platforms in cybersecurity. The role emphasizes responsive dashboards and scalable UI components.

You will work with product designers, backend engineers, and data engineers to deliver custom UIs from design inputs, ensuring usability, performance, and polished visuals across browsers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of frontend or full-stack development with a frontend focus.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience translating designs into production interfaces and building responsive UIs.
• Experience with React (Vue/Angular also considered) and modern tooling.
• Familiarity with REST/GraphQL APIs and state management.
• Good English communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• UI Development & Design Implementation translating specs and prototypes into responsive interfaces.
• Data Visualization & Interaction building tables, filters, and dashboards with chart libraries.
• API Integration & State Management connecting to REST/GraphQL backends and managing data fetches.
• Quality & Performance optimizing render, bundle size, tests, and accessibility.
• Collaboration & Delivery working with designers and product/engineering teams on PoCs and pilots.
