Job summary

SYSTRA UK & Ireland seeks an experienced Senior/Principal Consultant with rail industry expertise for our Dublin base, with flexibility to work from Cork. The role sits in a growing team supporting Irish Rail, NTA, TII and government bodies, delivering strategy, appraisals and rail infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering or related field at Level 8.
• Experience working on rail schemes and infrastructure projects.
• Progress towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage small projects with potential to lead larger ones.
• Provide advisory services on rail in land use and transport planning.
• Participate in client meetings with a solutions focus.
• Collaborate to meet objectives, time and budget constraints.
• Prepare technical documents and reports with support from engineering disciplines.
