Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its R&D PMO, leading complex cross-functional product development and commercialization programmes from concept through to launch.

You will guide project plans, timelines and budgets; drive delivery against milestones, ensure quality and regulatory compliance; mentor junior PMs and collaborate with stakeholders across R&D, engineering, quality, regulatory and operations.

Qualifications

• Engineering or related bachelor’s degree is required.
• 8–10+ years in managing complex product development projects.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience in medical devices or a highly regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of product development, commercialization and project management.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 14971 and FDA/QSR requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• PMP or Master’s degree would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams through product development and commercialisation.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets and resources.
• Drive delivery against project milestones, quality and compliance requirements.
• Manage project risks, dependencies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across R&D, engineering, quality, regulatory and operations.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to project managers and wider project teams.
• Support resource planning and strategic development initiatives.
