Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field as listed.
• 7+ years of industry experience, or 5 years with a Master’s, or 3 years with a PhD.
• Experience with FE modelling and validation activities is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional team to define modelling and simulation strategy for design optimization and reliability evaluation of peripheral vascular devices.
• Develop predictive engineering tools and approaches to support product development.
• Execute modelling and simulation studies to assess stress/strain in implant components.
• Virtual design and prototyping of implants and delivery systems using non-linear FEA tools.
• Interpret in-vivo loading and convert to FEA boundary conditions; explore CFD/FSI simulations as needed.
