Ratio Recruitment's client, a growing Irish residential development company in Leinster, seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of commercial management from early appraisal through to final accounts.

You will work with the Managing Director, Investment Manager, Construction Team, Design Team and Finance Team to drive cost control, value engineering and robust budgeting across live projects within a dynamic development environment.

Formación

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying.
• 5+ years of Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in residential development.
• Strong cost planning, budgeting and estimating experience.
• Experience in Bills of Quantities and detailed cost plans.
• Subcontractor procurement, tender analysis and negotiation experience.
• Experience managing monthly valuations, subcontractor claims, variations and final accounts.
• Knowledge of residential build rates and cost-saving opportunities through value engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Commercial appraisal of prospective development sites.
• Prepare build cost estimates and rates for site acquisition and investment decisions.
• Provide commercial input into site appraisals, feasibility and project viability.
• Review schemes for costs, risks and opportunities early in the process.
• Input into pre-planning costs, design solutions and planning requirements.
• Advise on buildability and cost efficiencies at early design stages.
• Assist with initial budgets and cost plans.
