Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a leading developer to manage a new 3-year residential scheme in North Kildare, delivering housing and apartments.

You will own cost management across the project, lead procurement, review payments, prepare cashflow forecasts, and manage commercial interfaces with the main contractor and design team, reporting to the Commercial Director.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Senior QS with a developer, main contractor or PQS practice
• Experience on large-scale residential developments, including housing and apartments
• Strong commercial, contractual and cost management skills
• Ability to report to a Commercial Director and manage cross-functional interfaces

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of cost management across the development, including budgeting, cost planning and reporting.
• Lead procurement and tendering of main contract and subcontract packages.
• Review and certify contractor payment applications, valuations and variations.
• Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts and risk assessments for senior management.
• Manage contractual and commercial matters with the main contractor, consultants and design team.
• Oversee final account agreement and cost reconciliation as phases complete.
• Support the delivery of housing and apartment phases across the three-year programme.

Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor required for a Developer to work on a new 3-year residential development in North Kildare, comprising housing and apartments. Our client is specifically looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of commercial management on this scheme from the early stages. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will report to the Commercial Director.

Role:
