Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related discipline.
• 7+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying, including senior level responsibility.
• Strong background with main contractors or residential developers.
• Proven experience managing commercial aspects of large-scale residential or apartment developments.
• Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, cost management and reporting.
• Experience with subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of the €150 million residential development.
• Manage project costs, budgets and financial performance throughout the construction programme.
• Prepare and maintain cost reports, forecasts, cash-flow projections and updates for senior management.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities with cost-control measures.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and strong commercial oversight of the project.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Manager and delivery team to meet financial targets.
• Provide guidance to junior commercial staff and support project governance.
