Job summary

The Housing Finance Agency plc (HFA) is seeking a Quantity Surveyor on a 3-year fixed term contract to support the Lending function. Reporting to the Head of Lending, this role strengthens internal oversight of the growing loan book and delivers cost management across nationwide AHB projects.

The successful candidate will provide robust cost analysis, risk assessment and management information to inform strategic decisions, focusing on forward funding and construction costs for social and cost

Qualifications

• NFQ Level 8qualification in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management.
• Chartered status or active progression with clear timeline.
• 7+ years QS experience or 5+ years in housing delivery/monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheme viability and breakdown construction costs.
• Assemble and analyse housing delivery cost data for viability.
• Develop cost metrics to evaluate project costs and funding needs.
• Prepare risk analyses for proposed schemes.
• Provide support on remediation schemes and cost input.
