Job summary

Winthrop Technologies Ltd. in Dublin is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor for site-based roles across multiple turnkey data centre projects in Europe.

You will lead commercial management of subcontract packages, monitor costs, and ensure timely financial reporting in alignment with client KPIs. The ideal candidate has a degree in Quantity Surveying with several years of experience in building construction, preferably within data centre environments, and strong budgeting and tender analysis

Qualifications

• Relevant degree, typically with 7+ years' relevant experience.
• Strong technical understanding of building construction and processes.
• Familiarity with various methods of measurement.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong business relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent budgeting and financial forecasting skills.
• Familiarity with Buildsoft, CostX or similar is advantageous.
• Data Centre experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Procure subcontract packages and other critical elements of the works with the senior project team.
• Generate quantified work packages, ITTs and budgets from technical documents.
• Analyse and present tender returns.
• Prepare and agree subcontract documents.
• Commercial management of multiple subcontract packages from order to final accounts and payments.
• Monitor costs and financial entitlement on controlled packages/projects.
• Engage with clients, subcontractors, designers and internal team members.
• Submit contractually compliant commercial documentation.
