Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years' experience in healthcare quality, risk management, patient safety, clinical governance, or accreditation.
• Significant experience operating at a senior management level within a healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading accreditation programmes and regulatory inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of the organisation's Quality and Patient Safety Framework.
• Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives across all clinical and non-clinical services.
• Monitor quality metrics, patient outcomes, and KPI to identify improvement opportunities.
• Oversee patient safety incident management systems, including investigation and corrective actions.
• Lead serious incident reviews, root cause analyses, and organisational learning programmes.
• Maintain and enhance the organisational risk management framework.
• Support departments in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
• Oversee risk registers and provide reports to senior management and Board committees.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and regulatory requirements.
