Job summary

Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services is seeking a Quality, Patient Safety & Clinical Risk Manager to provide senior leadership in clinical risk, patient safety and quality across the organisation. The role reports to the Quality & Patient Safety Lead and focuses on implementation, monitoring and improvement of safety and governance systems.

The post holder will advise managers and clinical teams, ensure compliance with national standards and contribute to a learning-focused patient safety culture.

Qualifications

• Academic award in Healthcare at Level 8 or higher (QQI or equivalent).
• Professional clinical qualification and NMBI/CORU registration.
• Postgraduate qualification in quality, patient safety, governance or healthcare management, or significant equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical risk management, patient safety, incident management and quality improvement.
• Develop, monitor and evaluate the organisation's quality and patient safety programme.
• Provide expert advice to managers and clinical teams.
