Job summary

Our Lady's Hospice & Care Services, based in Harold's Cross, Dublin, seeks a Quality & Patient Safety Lead to provide senior clinical leadership and strategic direction across quality, patient safety, governance, risk management and continuous improvement.

The post holder will support the Director of Nursing & Quality to embed quality and patient safety across culture, governance and day-to-day care, and will oversee the Quality & Patient Safety Team with line management and coordination of its

Qualifications

• Registered in the relevant Division of the NMBI or eligible for registration.
• Postgraduate qualification in Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, Clinical Governance, Healthcare Management, Risk Management, Healthcare Quality or Clinical Effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior clinical leadership and strategic direction for quality, patient safety, governance, risk management and continuous improvement.
• Support the Director of Nursing & Quality in embedding quality and patient safety in culture, governance, systems and day-to-day care delivery.
• Provide leadership, direction and oversight to the Quality & Patient Safety Team, including line management and coordination of its functions.
