Lead Group Ireland is recruiting a Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor for a major pharmaceutical project in Europe. The role oversees commercial and contractual aspects throughout the project lifecycle within a multinational engineering context.

You will collaborate with project management, engineering and construction teams to ensure cost control, commercial delivery and successful outcomes on a complex, long-term assignment.

Qualificações

• Degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in electrical quantity surveying, ideally within MEP, pharmaceutical, data centre or similarly complex projects.
• Experience managing electrical subcontract packages.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, variations, valuations and cost control.
• Excellent commercial and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a large project team.
• Pharmaceutical, data centre or other technically complex project experience would be highly advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the commercial aspects of electrical packages on a major pharmaceutical project.
• Prepare, review and manage project budgets, forecasts and cost reports.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations and payment applications.
• Monitor project costs and identify potential commercial risks and opportunities.
• Review contracts, subcontract agreements and commercial terms.
• Manage variations, claims and change control.
• Prepare and maintain accurate cost reports and forecasts.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
• Assist with procurement and tendering of electrical packages.
• Ensure accurate measurement and valuation of works completed.
• Support commercial negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Provide regular commercial reporting to senior management.

Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor – Pharmaceutical Project | Mainland Europe

Lead Group Ireland are currently supporting a multinational engineering company with the recruitment of a Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor for a major pharmaceutical project in Mainland Europe.

This is a 3-year project offering an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale pharmaceutical development within a highly experienced project team.

The Role

The Senior Electrical QS will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of electrical works throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with the project management, engineering and construction teams to ensure effective cost control, commercial management and delivery.
