Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Galway, Ireland seeks an Experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join a collaborative technology team. The role focuses on ensuring quality, reliability, and performance of software products through robust testing strategies, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work closely with software development teams to design, execute, and enhance testing processes across multiple applications and platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

Design and implement quality assurance processes and testing strategies for software applications, systems software, and firmware.
Analyse product requirements, architecture, and designs to determine testing approaches, automation frameworks, and integration activities.
Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, scripts, and associated documentation.
Identify, investigate, and resolve software defects and integration issues in partnership with development teams.
Drive test automation initiatives to improve efficiency, coverage, and product quality.
Lead QA activities within projects, ensuring delivery of reliable and cost-effective testing solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to track testing progress and resolve issues.
Represent QA throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle.
Support and mentor less experienced team members and share best practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
