Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise invites a Senior Cloud Developer to join our QA Software Engineering team in Galway. This hybrid role requires you to work on average two days per week from an HPE office, contributing to mission-critical cloud projects and end-to-end solutions.

You will design, implement and optimize cloud-native services, leveraging Kubernetes, microservices and strong programming skills in Python/Java/Go/JavaScript. You will mentor peers and participate in architectural reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related discipline.
• 7+ years experience in cloud software engineering and development.
• Strong programming skills and cloud-native architecture knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Leads design and development of complex cloud-based solutions for mission-critical apps.
• Evaluates designs and test plans, ensuring quality and reliability of cloud subsystems.
• Mentors less experienced engineers and contributes to architectural decisions.
• Collaborates with project managers and partners to deliver end-to-end deployments and operations.
