Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer (QE) for the Plan Sponsor WorkStation (PSW) within the Digital QE group in Ireland. You will drive quality across development lifecycles, develop automation strategies, and collaborate with peers across Ireland and global QE teams to raise testing standards.

You will contribute to test automation, tooling, and continuous quality initiatives, working with front-end and API automation, CI practices, and in-house tooling.

Qualifications

• 6+ years software quality engineering experience.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Develop and execute automation tests and strategies.
• Frontend and API automation with frameworks like Playwright and Karate.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with CI practices and automated deployment tools.
• Coordinate with distributed teams and test reporting

Responsibilities

• Actively drive a quality mindset across the team.
• Define test automation frameworks and strategies within approved tools and standards.
• Participate in planning, refinement, planning, sprint demos, reviews and retrospectives.
• Collaborate to define acceptance criteria with engineering and business partners.
• Analyze and report test results and release readiness from QE perspective.
• Contribute to test automation code and practices.
• Contribute to engineering practices such as code reviews and deployment pipelines
