Job summary

Pontoon is seeking a Senior QA Test Analyst in Dublin, with onsite work for 3 days per week. The role is a contract until Aug 2027, with some flexibility for banking experience.

You will develop test plans, execute E2E ETL tests and ensure data quality, using SQL to verify complex datasets. Ideal candidates will have hands-on QA in service-oriented environments, strong communication, and familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methods.

Senior QA Test Analyst

Location: Dublin (3 days per week onsite)

Duration: Until Aug 2027 subject to further extensions

Rate: Per Day (May be some flex for those with banking experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test plans, prepare test cases, and execute testing activities.
• Collaborate effectively with Development teams, Test Leads, Production Support, and Change Management partners.
• Conduct thorough E2E ETL Testing, Data Migration Testing, and Data Quality verification.
• Leverage strong SQL skills to write complex queries for effective testing.
• Manage the QA release cycle end-to-end, reporting defects and ensuring quality standards.

The Candidate Will Have:

• Proven hands-on QA experience, particularly in a service-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Agile SDLC and familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with Test Management Tools (such as Octane) and Automation testing frameworks (preferably Playwright or Tosca).
• Knowledge of Unix commands and the ability to drive proactive testing approaches.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Experience:

• Banking domain experience is a plus.
• Exposure to Generative AI Tooling for enhancing testing processes.
