Cpl Recruitment is partnering with a leading organisation to hire a Data QA Engineer for their growing data team in Dublin. This opportunity is suited to a QA professional with 5+ years' experience in software quality assurance, including hands-on testing of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouse environments.

You will validate end-to-end data pipelines, ensure data accuracy across systems, and run manual and automated testing.

This opportunity is suited to a QA professional with 5+ years' experience in software quality assurance, including hands‑on experience testing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouse environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of business‑critical data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Validate end-to-end data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouse solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple systems.
• Execute manual and automated testing strategies across data products.
• Identify, track, and manage defects through to resolution.
• Monitor data quality and support root cause analysis of data‑related issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in Software QA, with a strong focus on manual testing.
• Strong SQL skills and experience validating large datasets.
• Experience testing data pipelines, ETL processes, or data warehouse environments.
• Experience with cloud data technologies, ideally AWS.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Strong understanding of QA best practices, Agile delivery, and defect management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Applicants must hold Irish or EU Citizenship
