Job summary

Enterprise Registry Solutions Limited (ERS) in Dublin, hybrid, is seeking a Senior QA Analyst with automation experience to join our team responsible for quality across web, mobile, and desktop applications.

You will design and execute manual and automated tests, build CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with developers and business analysts to ensure delivery of robust registry software.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science with 5+ years' experience in manual software testing.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification is desirable but not essential.
• Strong test automation experience using Cypress or Playwright.
• Experience in test case development and execution is essential.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and maintains test specifications and plans for web, mobile, and desktop apps.
• Performs manual and automated testing to validate usability, performance, and reliability.

Summary:

As a Senior QA Analyst within ERS you will work closely with the development team and Business Analysts to assure the quality of our software. This role will possess excellent knowledge of software quality principles, methods, and tools.

Major Activities:

• Designs, develops, and maintains detailed test specifications, plans, and testing web, mobile and desktop applications.
• Conducts manual and automated testing across web, mobile and desktop platforms to validate usability, performance, and reliability.
• Implements and maintains automated test suites using tools such as Cypress, contributing to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Participates in the full testing lifecycle, including test design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
• Drives quality assurance practices within cross-functional teams, proactively identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Maintains disciplined documentation and tracking of defects, ensuring timely resolution and communication with development teams.
• Re-testing defect fixes and regression testing.
• Develops, documents, and enforces quality assurance policies, standards, and procedures, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborates with stakeholders across the company to support strategic initiatives and assess operational objectives.

Knowledge:

• Degree in computer science with 5+ years experience in manual software testing.
• ISTQB (or equivalent) Foundation Level certification is desirable but not essential.
• Strong test Automation experience (Cypress or Playwright).
• Experience in test case development and execution is essential.
• Clear understanding of software development lifecycle.
• SQL experience is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to interpret user requirements, detailed technical and functional specs and ability to apply this information to plan, develop and execute test cases and scripts.
• Proactive, willingness to take the initiative and assume responsibility where necessary.
