Job summary

JPMorganChase's Employee Platforms team is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive the design, development, and delivery of trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable way.

You will serve as a core technical contributor, mentoring engineers and guiding the adoption of AI-assisted tooling, CI/CD, and cloud-native architectures across Python/Node.js/React stacks to deliver robust, high-performance solutions.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Strong in Python and modern web stacks (Node.js/React).

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development and troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine approaches.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews/debugs code written by others.
• Drives adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and stability.
