Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Ireland is seeking an Associate Director / Project Director to lead public sector capital projects across healthcare, education, social housing and government. You will provide strategic direction, governance oversight and delivery leadership from inception through to completion, collaborating with Health & Education leadership.

You will develop client relationships, win new commissions, lead multidisciplinary teams and drive profitable outcomes while upholding governance

Qualifications

• 10+ years' industry experience, including at least 5 years post‑chartership.
• Experience leading public‑sector capital projects across healthcare, education, social housing, government, or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of Irish public‑sector procurement, governance frameworks and contract administration (CWMF).
• Experience leading public‑sector tenders, framework submissions and business development activities.
• Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams and strong commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of public‑sector capital projects and programmes.
• Establish robust project governance, reporting, assurance, and project controls processes.
• Oversee project delivery across the full lifecycle from inception to handover.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, securing new commissions and contributing to bid activity.
• Monitor profitability, resource utilisation and overall commercial performance.
