Job summary

The Institute of Public Administration (IPA) is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage end-to-end tender processes and provide governance-focused support within the Office of the Deputy Director General / Company Secretary.

The role requires ensuring compliance with public procurement legislation and internal policies, and delivering procurement documentation from advertisement to contract management.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 6 Qualification in Procurement, Finance, Governance, Law or related discipline is essential.
• Degree or equivalent expertise gained through experience is essential.
• Demonstrated understanding of Public Procurement rules and Public Sector Governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver the full tender process for assigned projects and for IPA RFQ campaigns.
• Provide professional advice and support on procurement documentation, evaluation, contracts and post-award management.
• Support Head of Procurement and governance team to promote procurement discipline across the IPA.
• Deputise for Head of Procurement and represent the department at meetings and events.
